NBA Cancelled Season Not a Concern to Bookies
Bookmakers in attendance at this past week’s Punta Cana Poker Classic expressed little worry over the NBA season being cancelled this year.
“We don’t take enough action on the NBA to have a serious impact,” said one online bookmaker. “It’s not a big deal.”
Bookies admitted that College Basketball gets much heavier action as does the NFL and College Football.

Had the NFL season been lost or even abbreviated, bookmakers admitted they would have seen massive losses.
While the NBA and Baseball see some betting action, it is not until the Playoffs where bookies see significant wagering action.
