Phoenix Suns Daily Fantasy Value, Betting Report – February 20

The Phoenix Suns daily fantasy value and betting report as we enter into the second half of the 2015 NBA season is examined by Gambling911.com, the official sponsor of the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach.  This is just one of the many new additions to the Gambling911.com site to compliment the second half of the season that we hope will make you a winner whether you’re betting on games or playing daily fantasy NBA.

As this goes to publication, the Suns were trying to move star guard Goran Dragic prior to Thursday’s trade deadline.   This is a result of Dragic’s agent revealing his star would not be re-signing with Phoenix once the season has concluded.  Players minutes will likely be boosted as a result.   The Suns will be on the road Friday against the T-Wolves.

Phoenix has been a team in free fall of late.  Though they enter the second half of the season with a 29-25 record, the Suns lost seven of their last ten games both Straight Up and Against The Spread.  The UNDER has occurred in eight of their last ten games.

After Minnesota, the Suns face Chicago on the road, host Boston, then play another road game against Denver before coming home to face Oklahoma City.

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

PJ Tucker (SF) $4.2K – 24 fantasy points

Eric Bledsoe (PG) $8K – 32 fantasy points

Markieff Morris (PF) $5.9K – 29 fantasy points

Alex Len (C) $4.6K – 24 fantasy points

Brandon Knight (SG) $7.5K - 33 fantasy points

Markieff Morris – The power forward had scored at least 26 fantasy points in six of his last nine games heading into the All Star Break.

He’ll face a Boston team that has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.  Denver allows the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.  Morris finds himself in a great position here.

Morris destroyed Boston in a previous matchup.  He did not have the same kind of luck against Denver on the road however, but that could be considered a bit of a fluke.  Two days prior, Morris faced the Nuggets and accumulated near 50 fantasy points in that one.

Minnesota – Hold

Chicago – Hold

Boston – Strong Go

Denver – Go

Oklahoma City – Hold

Alex Len – Boston ranks 21st against centers. He did make value against them and that was on the road.  We anticipate an even better performance against the Celtics at home.  He returns from injury on Friday.

It should be noted that Len performed well the last time he faced Minnesota and is an option against them at his current price if need be.

Minnesota – Neutral/Go

Chicago – Hold

Boston – Go

Denver – Hold

Oklahoma City – Hold

PJ Tucker – He has reached 22 or higher fantasy points in five straight games and only needs around 18 to make value.   He did come close the last time facing Chicago so worth having him on your roster with such a small slate Saturday.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
