Portland Trailblazers Bettors Burned Over Questionable Call (Video)

It’s one of those plays that has sports bettors banging their heads against the wall and staying in bed the rest of the week fearing they might get run over by a car crossing the street.

The Portland Trailblazers hosted Oklahoma City Monday night in a game that ended up in overtime due to a highly questionable call.

From SportsMemo.com

If you supported the Portland Trail Blazers last night, feel free to vent your frustration in the comment box below. Down 2 with 10 seconds to go, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant drives in and has his shot seemingly blocked by LaMarcus Aldridge. But the ref decided it was goaltending – and proceeded to physically make the call as if he were throwing a 93 mph cutter. The Thunder went on to win in overtime.

Replays clearly showed there was goaltending committed.  (See video below)

Tonight’s NBA Lines for February 7, 2012 featured the following (all can be bet on here - be sure to claim up to $900 FREE CASH based on an initial deposit):

Utah plays in Indiana as a 9-point dog.

Miami is a -13-point favorite at home versus the hapless Cavaliers.

A Boston team that has now won 8 of their last 10 games hosts Charlotte as a -14 favorite.   The Bobcats have won just three games.

Minnesota is a -6.5 favorite against Sacramento at home.

Milwaukee was moving between -7 and -7.5 hosting Phoenix.  Both teams are under .500 with 10 wins apiece.

After that overtime win, Oklahoma City heads to Golden State where they should have a tough time going the entire four quarters.  The oddsmakers and betting public see this as an opportunity for Warriors backers as well with the line opening at +4 and dropping down to 2.5 at most online sportsbooks.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
