A frenzy of activity is taking place over on the Full Tilt Poker website, not that it matters much when players are waiting more than a year to get paid.

Investors Unnerved by Playtech Planned Acquisitions: Shares Fall
(Reuters) - Playtech, the world's biggest provider of online gaming software, plans a string of acquisitions as it branches out into the social gaming market but news that it will be buying the businesses from its main shareholder unnerved investors.
The Estonia-based firm said on Tuesday that it planned to spend 95 million euros ($124.1 million) buying assets owned by Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi who founded Playtech and still owns a 48 percent stake in the company.

Media Corp, parent company to the popular online gambling venue Purple Lounge, is looking to take over The Poker Channel parent company Gaming Media Group (GMG), it was reported on Tuesday.
Media Corp suspended its shares and issued a statement to the London Stock Exchange Tuesday morning upon announcing its plans.
The Poker Channel launched in 2005 and is seen in the United Kingdom and across 30 territories with a reach of 30 million subscribers. Most recently, the channel signed on to air programming in France, Mexico and Argentina.
