In a recent post on PlaySlots4RealMoney.com by Penny Cleopatra, the top guy at AXES Network has been tapped to fill the role as the chair of the new Blockchain Committee in Canada.

Chosen for this position by the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) , Earle Hall appears to be the perfect candidate given his current title of CEO at AXES. According to this report, Hall is viewed as a globa l gaming leader in his field. The main reason he was the top choice of the GSA was the ability to lead the way into this new era of blockchain technology. His Quebec-based company AXES Network has become a market leader in the field of ‘cloud-based information management technology for the casino industry’ as described by Ms. Barlowe. The GSA for Canada’s gaming industry has been in place for 20 years. It decided to form this brand new Blockchain Committee in February of this year. Once the search for the committee’s chair was finalized it is now considered officially launched.

The self-stated mission of this new group is to ‘spur growth and innovation in Canada’s gaming industry’. The GSA’s commitment of both time and resources to this new endeavor highlights its understanding of just how important blockchain technology has become in recent years. The report goes on the note that ‘blockchains are cryptographically linked and secured data structures, known as records, which are designed to make data modification extremely difficult to implement’.

Mr. Hall brings a long line of credentials into his new position. His wealth of experience in real money gambling and technology has helped to position his company as true pioneers in cloud-based data management. He has held the position of CEO at AXES N etwork since 2014. Over the past few years, he has gained a high level of expertise in blockchain technology. Hall is also known for having a firm grasp on how this technology can be used to shape the future course of brick and mortar gambling operations as well as online gambling applications.Blockchain technology is often linked to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, but its actual applications can have a far-reaching impact on the storage and sharing of information. It is also vital to the overall security of the gaming industry.

Hall remains confident that enhancements to this technology in the coming years will go a long way towards addressing some of Canada’s casino industry’s biggest challenges. In a direct quote in this report, he stated: “Blockchain is the answer to so many of our inefficiencies. It is inherently designed for transparent, secure and distributed information flow. Blockchain will exponentially increase the potential for collaboration, efficiency and connectivity.”

The GSA stated that this technology has the potential to lead to “previously unobtainable levels of transparency.” The work done within this new committee also has the potential to have some much wider impact on the entire gaming and casino industry beyond Canada’s borders. The debate over blockchain technology’s  ability to radically change the way data is shared will continue, but Canada’s new Blockchain Committee is a positive step in the right direction.
