Britain's Got Talent Betting

While most of the online bookmakers in the UK were offering up Susan Boyle with greater than even odds, the folks at Sportingbet.com provided the best price - even odds.  Bet US$110, win $US100.

Compare this to Paddy Power where one would have to bet US$150 to win US$80.

The question everyone is asking:  Can a 12-year old beat Susan Boyle?

Simon Cowell has called 12-year old Welch contender, Shaheen Jafargholi, ‘a real contender to win'.

Last week in the US, two very high profile favorites lost their respective television competitions.  First, heartthrob, Gilles Marini, lost to Olympian, Shaun Johnson, on Dancing With The Stars. Then came the ultimate shocker as heavily touted Adam Lambert fell to Kris Allen on American Idol.

"Susan Boyle may have captured hearts across the world with her beautiful singing voice, but after his semi-finals performance on Tuesday night's "Britain's Got Talent," 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi may be the reality competition's new frontrunner," Access Hollywood is reporting.

"And it's true," says Gambling911.com's Payton O'Brien, "that the prolonged fascination with Susan Boyle seems to be coming from outside the UK at this time."

O'Brien points out that nearly 70 percent of web searches coming into the Gambling911 site pertaining to Susan Boyle originate from North America.

Shaheen Jafargholi certainly has great value at Sportingbet - promising a payout of US$700 for every US$100 bet.
