Readers of the Gambling911.com website have disclosed that it was comedian Joan Rivers appearance on the Howard Stern Show that apparently caused a flood of Celebrity Apprentice bets at Sportsbook.com on Monday morning.

"We've had to pull all odds on this event," Sportsbook.com spokesperson, Dave Stanley told Gambling911.com Monday morning.

Rivers and daughter Melissa are among the celebs appearing on the show and mother Joan apparently let slip out that Melissa makes it right up to the end.  She then caught herself and stopped by saying to herself. "Ugh! I'm not supposed to say that."

There is some chance that the gaffe may be a prepackaged attempt to throw off viewers, however.

Gambling911.com had received a similar notice some months ago before the show had finished taping.
