Royal Baby Name Predictions from Mommy Woo – Latest Odds
For those of you looking to place a bet on the name of the Royal baby, here are a few predictions from Yours Truly, Mommy of a one year old, Jenny Woo.
George at 7/4 was the odds-on favorite and, while conventional, who names their kid George in this day and age? A little too conventional if you ask us. Then again, Princess Diana did name her second child Harry when that name was a little out of vogue.
James may have some terrific value at 4/1 odds. It’s hip and conventional at the same time.
With Alexandra as the original favorite (assuming the Royal baby would be a girl), it is only fitting that Alexander could have been the backup. At 9/1 odds, there is some good value here.
Next on the oddsmakers list is Louis, which, using different spelling variations, is more typical of a Latin child’s name these days.
Arthur sounds like a name that never made it beyond the 16th century while Henry is a cool name in France when pronouncing ON-REE. Obviously the Royal couple is not French.
William Jr. was coming in at 50/1 odds.
Now if I were a betting woman, my money would be on James and that is my free pick – JAMES at 4/1 odds.
