Odds on the color of the Queen's hat

One of the favorites among the Royal Wedding odds in which to bet on will be the color of the Queen’s hat.

Gambling911.com decided to look at several images of the Queen on both Google and Bing.com.

We typed in the term “Queen’s Hat” and found plenty of blues, purples and whites.  We even saw a few reds.  Nonetheless, yellow is the favorite at BetED.com, which would pay $15 for every $10 bet

``Hats have long denoted status,'' said Oriole Cullen, curator of a Victoria & Albert Museum 2009 hat exhibit that has since gone to Australia and heads to New York in September, in an interview with CBS News. ``Up until the 1950s, a woman wasn't even considered properly dressed unless she was wearing a hat and gloves.''

That news outlet also noted the “Royals have long been painted or photographed wearing hats the Queen Mum had a special fondness for flouncy feathered creations, whereas her daughter has generally worn the same blocked style.”

We say take RED for +2500 or 25/1.  But admittedly, it’s like betting the coin toss in the Super Bowl with more options to choose from.

BetED.com was offering the following odds on the color of the Queen’s hat: (How to read these odds:  +150 would pay out $15 for every $10 bet, +400 would pay out $40 for every $10 bet, +1400 would pay out $140 for every $10 bet, and so on)
