Initial reports had Britain's Got Talent runner up, Susan Doyle, suffering from either a nervous breakdown or what was coined as "exhaustion".  By Wednesday, we were learning that the 48-year old had suffered an anxiety attack.   She is said to be recovering nicely.

Ms. Boyle became an overnight YouTube sensation, with more than 100 million views in just over a week following her performance on Britain's Got Talent.

Online bookmakers immediately made Boyle a huge favorite to win the competition, but the days leading into the final, Sportingbet.com had her at near even odds.  In the end, Doyle lost out to a double digit underdog group called Diversity.  Millions of dollars were bet on Boyle.

But finishing second hasn't exactly hurt Susan Boyle's chances at an amazing recording future.  She's even been invited to sing for US President Barack Obama on July 4.

Boyle's brother Gerry said "Her dream is still very much alive. In fact, it's only just starting... She's been battered non-stop for the last seven weeks and it has taken its toll. But she'll be looking forward now to the Fourth of July."
