2010 Week 12 BCS Standings And Odds To Win Championship
Oregon does remain atop the 2010 Week 12 BCS Standings. Auburn, TCU and Boise State continue to hang around in the top four.
Boise State is ranked 3rd on the AP Top 25, alternating with TCU.
Not surprisingly, Oregon is the favorite to win the 2011 BCS Championship, and there is some value we suppose. A $100 bet pays just shy of $200 at SBG Global, which updated its odds to win the 2011 BCS Championship on Monday.
Regardless of where the Alabama Crimson Tide ranks (10th on the AP Top 25 and 11th on the BCS Standings), they are still darlings of the online bookmakers, who have them with the second shortest odds. They would pay out $300 for every $100 bet, compared to Boise State that pays $400 and TCU, which pays $750. Auburn would pay out $450.
See all BCS Standings for Week 12 below along with the latest odds of winning the BCS Championship.
1 Oregon 10-0 – Oregon just narrowly escaped with a 2-point win over California on Saturday. Gambling911.com had emphasized an important stat applying to this game whereby the home team was victorious in 6 out of 7, but probably more importantly, Oregon only won by more than this past weekend’s spread in one of the seven games in this series.
2 Auburn 11-0
3 TCU 11-0
4 Boise State 9-0
5 LSU 9-1 – Pays 100/1 odds.
6 Stanford 9-1 – Pays 15/1 as a “field” option.
7 Wisconsin 9-1 – Pays 50/1 odds should they win the 2011 BCS Championship.
8 Nebraska 9-1 – Pays 25/1.
9 Ohio State 9-1 - The Buckeyes were 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite coming into this game. Now pays 35/1 odds to win the 2011 BCS. Considering they were once the darlings to win the BCS Championship earlier in the season, these payout odds have terrific value.
10 Oklahoma State 9-1 – History was not to be a factor in this past weekend’s game vs. Texas whereby the Longhorns had won the last 10 in this series. Oklahoma State beat Texas in this game by double digits. Texas did come into this game 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games following a Straight Up loss of more than 20 points. Oklahoma State does not have odds listed at SBG Global (see “field” choice on their website).
Alabama was ranked 11th on the BCS Standings. They easily beat Mississippi by a score of 30-10 this past weekend. We were pretty adamant about going with the UNDER in this game, and that’s exactly what happened.
Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State, and quite possibly Boise State going up against a 6-3 Fresno State team, are likely to face the biggest challenges in the upcoming weekend. Gambling911.com, as always, will have your trending data in those games.
