2018 World Cup Group E Betting Odds: Brazil, Switzerland, Serbia, Costa Rica

The 2018 FIFA World Cup draw took place Friday with Group E teams selected including long time power house Brazil, Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica.

Brazil is the 1/3 favorite followed by Switzerland at 5/1 odds, Serbia at 7/1 odds and everyone’s favorite in the last World Cup, Costa Rica at 20/1 odds.

Costa Rica will also see plenty of love as they are the second biggest i-Gaming jurisdiction in the world outside of Malta.

The Washington Post issued this warning to those looking at ignoring the Ticos.

Switzerland and Serbia are positioned to fight for second place, but Costa Rica should not be dismissed. The Ticos were the surprise of the last World Cup, beating out Uruguay, Italy and England to win their group and then beating Greece to reach the quarterfinals before losing to the Netherlands on penalty kicks.

Oddly enough, it was Serbia seeing half the betting action early on.
