Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots Line

The Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots line opened at Patriots -3 ½.  It's been unstable ever since.  At press time Gambling911.com has counted four different lines:

Legendz Sports, a bookmaker based out of Panama, had the line at New England -1.

Gambling911.com endorsed Sportsbook.com had the line at -1 ½.

Most of the other sportsbooks endorsed by Gambling911 had the line at -2.

The Las Vegas Hilton, which does not offering online wagering, had the Ravens at +2 ½.  The Hilton did open this line at -3 ½ and only held it under -2 ½ for a period of 10 minutes.  Ravens backers may want to take a trip out to Vegas to get the best price, but there is no guarantee that number will be available by the time your flight arrives.  Okay, we don't really suggest doing that.

The trends is for the line to come down and it is possible we will see a few more books offering the Patriots at -1 when all is said and done.  The movement indicates heavy early action on the Ravens, that has since leveled out.

The action on this game was practically even on the -1 ½ line

This promises to be one of the most heavily bet on games of the week as both teams are now among the favorites to win the 2010 Super Bowl.

New England would pay out $700 for every $100 bet if they win the 2010 Super Bowl at Sportsbook.com.

The Baltimore Ravens would pay $600 for every $100 bet

New England had opened as the favorites and maintained that status leading up to Week 3.
