The Dallas Cowboys odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl were set at +625.  The payout would be $625 for every $100 bet at betED.com.

Many believe the Cowboys are now the hottest team in the NFC with both New Orleans and the Minnesota Vikings becoming unraveled during the final few weeks of the NFL regular season.

Recent playoff history is littered with examples of hot teams that lost and cold teams that caught fire at crucial moments, warns David Moore of the Dallas News.

Indianapolis carried a nine-game winning streak into the playoffs last season. Miami was the next hottest team with a five-game winning streak.

Each lost its first playoff game.

Arizona lost four of its final six games and was outscored by 97 points in those losses. Yet the offense ignited in the playoffs and the Cardinals advanced to the Super Bowl before losing to Pittsburgh.

The $625 win potential may be worth a bet though.  Week 1 of the regular NFL season had Dallas with odds of +1300 to win the 2010 Super Bowl and those odds got longer midway through the season.
