Peyton Manning will come into this season a top 5 Fantasy quarterback prospect but a poor performance in Week 1 against Baltimore will likely provide a glimpse of the season to come. Manning scored 50.9 Fantasy points against Baltimore the last time facing them. Despite what should be a pretty hefty price tag, you’ll probably want Manning on your roster this week. You may want to avoid him the rest of the season if he can’t get the job done here.
Manning has also scored over 28 Fantasy points against Oakland during the last three seasons in four of six games. He has scored more than 20 Fantasy points in five of six games against Kansas City. In the last three seasons, two games against the Bengals have resulted in both games providing Manning with well over 20 Fantasy points.
And despite Manning’s lackluster record against the Patriots, he has managed to score over 27 Fantasy points in four of his last five appearances against them. He made value against them twice last season.
Manning will likely be priced around $8300 and will need to make 3X his value or score around 25 Fantasy points.
CJ Anderson is among the top Fantasy running backs in the league. Anderson is at the top of the depth chart entering the 2015 season.
"I think C.J. has worked extremely hard," Head Coach Gary Kubiak said during OTAs. "Coming off of last year he deserves that opportunity and I think he’s getting ready for that opportunity. But he knows he’s being pushed very hard.”
He scored over 22 Fantasy points against Oakland. You will want to consider Anderson for both Week 5 and Week 14.
Anderson will be priced around $7600 early on so he’ll need around 23 Fantasy points to make value. He did so in four of his last seven games of the season.
This year’s Broncos team doesn’t seem that enticing for Daily Fantasy players outside of a few games in which Manning should exceed value (Week 1 vs. Baltimore and Week 12 vs. the Patriots, only if Manning still appears in prime form.
