Both these teams are very much in the Playoffs hunt though only the Lions really have a shot at winning their respective division.  Following Chicago’s win over the Browns in Cleveland, they currently sit one game up on Detroit in the division.

The Ravens are 5-0-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 18-6-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.  Baltimore is also 6-2 ATS playing on Monday nights.

They are, however, 1-8 ATS in their last 9 December games despite winning the Super Bowl last year.  Baltimore is also 1-4 Against The Spread following a Straight Up win in their last five games.

The Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game but are also 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.  They have not fared well in December games either, going 1-5 ATS.

In all games where the total is greater than or equal to 49.5, Detroit is just 2-10 Against The Spread over the past three seasons and 4-16 ATS since 1992.

The betting public is correct when moving the money line in Baltimore games 77.1% of the time over the past 3 seasons, thus giving Detroit a significant edge here.

Baltimore and Detroit have not faced one another since 2009.
