Don Best, which features regular video previews for most upcoming games and real time wise guy line movements, offered up this analysis for the Sooners:
The Sooners have 16 returning starters and a very favorable schedule. They'll look to build on their Sugar Bowl victory over Alabama. Quarterback Trevor Knight will run the offense, and the front seven on defense are expected to be among the best in the nation.
At 10-1 odds, the Sooners do have tremendous value. They are ranked 4th in the nation.
Wins against both Alabama and in-state rival Oklahoma State late last season help solidify this notion.
Their schedule is especially favorable with the only true concern being road games against West Virginia, Texas Tech and TCU.
