The Green Bay Packers continued to be the single most bet on team coming into the first full Sunday slate of 2010 NFL football.   Every online sportsbook was reporting similar results with action cooling off a bit to 85 percent after more than 95 percent of gamblers were on the Packers at one time.

Because this is a late afternoon game, the Packers should be the most bet on team of the week when all is said and done.  Action could even out further by game time but the bookies will be hoping Green Bay’s opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles, cover the +3 point spread currently being offered at BetUS.com.

Other teams getting substantial action included the West Virginia Mountaineers at -12 ½ facing Marshall. Thisis a Friday night game with nearly 95 percent of bets coming in on West Virginia.  Gamblers were also willing to pay a hefty fee (nearly -500) on the money line that the Mountaineers will win outright.  A $50 bet pays $10 (the initial $50 bet is refunded with a West Virginia win)

The San Francisco 49ers were getting a lot of love coming into this season from gamblers, with nearly 90 percent of the action coming in on this team.  Way back when, the Seahawks opened as -1 point home favorites but the line has since stabilized across the board at San Francisco -3.

The Colts and Dolphins rounded out the top 5 bets coming into Friday afternoon at BetUS.com.
