The Raiders-Bills spread has only gone from -4 to -3.5 at a handful of online sportsbooks and half of those in Las Vegas.  Some books had dipped to -3 earlier in the week.

Buffalo probably provided the biggest upset of the week when they handed the Chiefs their worst home game.

The Bills are 7-2 Against The Spread in their last 9 vs. AFC.

Both teams are 4-9 ATS following a Straight Up win.

“West Coast team, cross country, over the course of time that is a tough test,” remarked Brian Blessing of DonBest.com.

Though the Bills were one of the worst defensive teams last season, the situation has changed dramatically in Buffalo for 2011.

“The Bills defense improved leaps and bounds (during the off season).” Blessing noted.

An Oakland win would have the Raiders starting the season 2-0 for the first time in nine years.  The Bills started the 2008 season 2-0 but have not had a winning season in years.

Buffalo, whose defense ranked dead last against the run last season, held Kansas City to 108 yards on 18 carries.

"We're done patting everybody on the back," said Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick who matched a career high with four scoring passes. "Our guys are looking forward to the next game and continuing to get better every game."
