Roger Goodell a No Show or Booed at Super Bowl LI

With NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell the single most hated person in all of New England bar none, oddsmakers have wasted little time offering odds on whether he gets booed, or even if he is a no show for the ceremony.

Goodell imposed a four-game suspension on Brady earlier in the regular season, with claims that Brady had been more involved in the notorious Deflategate incident than he had earlier led on.

In regard to New England fans anger over the findings, Goodell tells them to essentially “get over it”.

Goodell, who has not visited Gillette Stadium since the Deflategate scandal whereby New England was accused of deflating the opposing team’s balls during the AFC Championship game two years ago, insists there was reason to impose a suspension on Brady.

“We went through a process, we applied the discipline, in accordance with our process,” the commissioner said. “It was litigated, as you know, extensively, it was validated by the Second Court Circuit of Appeals.

“We’re moving on from that,” he said. “That’s part of our history but it’s something we’re comfortable with the process and the decision and we’re focusing on the game now.”
