Super Bowl 2010 odds opened at Indianapolis -4 but bettors jumped all over the Colts at that number, forcing online bookmakers like Sportsbetting.com to push the line to -5 ½.  (Super Bowl 2010 odds can be found here)

Around 65 percent of the backing was still on Indianapolis at the -5 ½ odds.  One might want to consider a money line bet on the New Orleans Saints as nearly 90 percent of the early money line action was going New Orleans way and the payout would be almost $20 for every $10 bet.

In Las Vegas the early action was going the Saints way, however, the line opened at -5 ½ there after the -4 line appeared offshore.

Within one hour, however, the number was bet down to 4.5 points at the Las Vegas Hilton and Station Casinos properties. The Colts are favored by 4 points at MGM Mirage properties.
