Super Bowl MVP 2010 – Odds
Super Bowl MVP 2010 odds have been released by Sports Interaction.com (see website here) Peyton Manning would pay even odds if he were to be named Super Bowl MVP.
In the last 11 Super Bowls, 6 quarterbacks have been named Most Valuable Players. All were of or below the caliber of Peyton Manning.
The Atlanta Constitution newspaper proclaims that Joe Montana is the single best NFL quarterback ever, but Peyton Manning comes close.
Jeff Shultz of the Constitution:
"Trying to rank the all-time top 10 quarterbacks is a set up for debate. But with the Super Bowl next week, there is little question that Peyton Manning has a chance to leap to the top, or at least near it. He has led Indianapolis into the title game for the second time. His team - hardly the NFL's most talented - might be 18-0 if it didn't use the final two weeks of the regular season for nap time."
In our opinion, the only way Manning does not get named Super Bowl MVP is if his team should lose. Sure that can happen but as long as they are favored, Manning has the best value (albeit not the best payout odds compared to say Drew Brees).
And speaking of Drew Brees, he would pay out $3 for every $1 bet should he be named Super Bowl MVP 2010.
