Texans-Panthers Betting Line, Daily Fantasy Sports Picks

Gambling911.com has your Texans-Panthers betting line and Daily Fantasy Sports picks for Week 2.

The line on this game was set at -3 Carolina across the board with a total of between 39 and 40.5 depending on the book.  These two teams have not met since 2011 when Carolina won 28-13 on the road.

Houston is just 5-14 Straight Up in its last 19 games on the road while Carolina is 6-1 SU in their last 7 games overall and 12-5 SU in their last 17 games at home.  The UNDER is 5-1 in the Panthers last six games played at home and 4-2 with Houston on the road.

This is not a fantasy-friendly matchup considering the Panthers defense racked up 21 fantasy points last week and few Carolina players – Cam Newton included – made much headway in this regard.

While the Texans DeAndre Hopkins wide receiver managed to accumulate 243 pass yards, 3 TD, translating into a generous 21.72 fantasy points for someone priced at $7.4K, we don’t see that occurring again this weekend.

Until Arian Foster returns, there won’t be much to cheer about when it comes to Houston’s running backs, and this could prove detrimental against Carolina Sunday.  Houston's running backs had just 20 carries that were split among Alfred Blue (9), Jonathan Grimes (6) and Chris Polk (5).  Ouch!
