Odds on the Germany vs. France Euro 2016 matchup had the Germans and French each getting 7-4 odds with France only a slight favorite at some books where Germany was at 9-4 odds.  The Draw was coming in at 2-1.

Germany beat Italy on Saturday 1-1 (6-5) after going into the penalty stage.

Jonas Hector scored the winning goal: "I knew I had to take one at some point and I had my heart in my mouth," Hector told reporters after the game.

"It's hard to put it into words, but I am overjoyed that it went in. There weren't many people left."

France, meanwhile, got off to a commanding 4-0 lead against upset-minded Iceland Sunday in the first half.  Iceland went on to score two goals in the second half while France contributed another goal.
