Why Bet the Saints Moneyline? Go For Margin of Victory

The Saints moneyline pays just shy of $20 for every $10 bet at SportsInteraction.com (see website here).  But why bet the moneyline when you can wager on the Saints margin of victory between 1 and 5 points at a much better payout potential?

The Margin of Victory odds for the Saints pay out $50 for every $10 bet if the score falls between 1 and 5.  6 to 10 pays $80.

"The one disadvantage is that the moneyline will pay 2/1 odds no matter how big the margin of victory for New Orleans," Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com stated.

But should the Saints win outright, the train of thought is that it won't be by a significant amount of points.

"There is always the chance it will be though," acknowledged Shapiro.

The moneyline does not involve a spread, but instead is an outright win by either team.  The Colts require a much higher risk as the favorite.
