FullTiltPoker.com today announced that international poker star and tournament legend Gus Hansen will return as brand ambassador for the site, which plans to re-open for real-money poker on November 6, 2012.
In August, PokerStars obtained the assets of Full Tilt Poker and committed to reimburse Full Tilt Poker customers outside the U.S. whose accounts have been inaccessible since the previous management closed the site in June 2011.

Bwin.Party Confirms Sale of Ongame to Amaya
As was reported over the past week and now confirmed by Bwin.party, the world’s largest online gambling firm, Ongame has been acquired by Canadian company Amaya Gaming for €15m in cash.
Amaya will pay a further €10m depending on progress made in the US on regulating online gambling, according to the Financial Times of London.
A previous deal for Las Vegas-based ShuffleMaster to purchase Ongame earlier in the year for an initial €19.5m, plus a potential further €10m, eventually fell through.

Sportingbet Snubs Takeover Bid
Sportingbet, one of the United Kingdom’s largest sports betting operations, has snubbed a takeover effort from rival William Hill, it was learned Sunday.
Sportingbet, which is slated to report its full-year results on Wednesday, rejected the £350 million takeover bid from Hill and its partner, European gaming company GVC. William Hill had proposed a 52.5p-a-share bid.
The company had previously been in talks with another rival, Ladbrokes. Its share price has surged 16 percent since discussions about a possible takeover began to surface.
