BetonSports.com CEO David Carruthers Pleads Guilty

David Carruthers, former BetonSports chief executive, pled guilty to Count 

One of the third superseding indictment in a St. Louis, Mo., court today. 

Mr. Carruthers agreed to not appeal provided that the sentence doesn't  exceed 33 months, which is under the terms of the agreement, as well as to not engage in United States-facing offshore gambling businesses during the time of supervised release or thereafter. 

Sentencing has been set for Friday, Oct. 2.

Carruthers was initially arrested in July of 2006 while changing flights at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport.
