CNBC is current promoting its upcoming original program "The Big Business of Illegal Gambling"

Beyond the bright lights of Vegas, billions are on the line in a shadowy underworld inhabited by people just like you. Premieres December 16 at 9p ET/PT.

That's about all we know.  It should be good (like most of the CNBC shows) but probably won't put the world of online gambling in a good light.

Sports betting has been mentioned in promos for the upcoming show.  It remains to be seen how much of a focus poker will receive.

CNBC routinely reports on news related to online gambling legislation.
