Serial casino entrepreneur, property tycoon and all round cashed up big mouth, Donald 'The Don' Trump is apparently interested to purchase the property just a stones throw from the 'Ground Zero' site in New York, where thousands of our American friends lost their lives on September 11th 2001.
Trump, a maverick real estate magnate who has played an integral part in building Atlantic City up during its more recent glory days is also a celebrated philanthropist. He has been in touch with TMZ.com about his thoughts. Some media and casino industry insiders are still questioning the news, suspecting that it may be some sort of elaborate publicity stunt involving Trump and TMZ, both known for some pretty offbeat news and stunts, however both entities also have a track record of success, but we will learn more details in the next 24- 48 hours.
Trump is also ramping up (and has largely sorted out the legal mess) pertaining to his U.S based casinos, and interestingly has also publicly endorsed the online gaming and gambling world, unlike his foe Steve 'Winning' Wynn. U.S President Barack 'Captain America' (MM tag) Obama has yet to comment on Trump's 'Ground Zero' plans.
The prez has been largely criticized in U.S and Australian press for letting the 'Ground Zero' mosque development get to its current stage. Will Trumpy save the day for the civilized world as we know it.
