The Kentucky Derby 2010 odds have been updated at BetUS.com.  The race is set for May 1 and fans have really caught the fever.   The popular online gambling establishment is reporting a huge surge in Kentucky Derby betting Friday, a significant increase over last year.

Likewise, preliminary traffic numbers for Gambling911.com show a fairly significant surge over last year on this same date.  The past two days leading up to the 2010 Kentucky Derby have shown only mild increases in traffic over last year's numbers, albeit they were quite good.

The field is set and looks to offer the usual showdown at Churchill Downs amidst the usual pomp and circumstance as well. Fans are looking for an edge as BetUS.com has seen a ton of interest in the odds its experts posted regarding the Derby and Triple Crown.

"Fans are really keyed up for horse racing this year," stated BetUS.com spokesman Reed Richards. "We typically see a lot of site traffic surrounding the race, but this year in particular it seems people really want to see a Triple Crown winner, and are logged on early to check on Derby odds."

Analysts at BetUS.com released the following Kentucky Derby 2010 odds:

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
