Arrests Made in Shooting Death of Marine Outside Miccosukee Casino Christmas Night

Two men have been arrested and charged in the shooting death of a former marine outside a South Florida casino Christmas night.

The incident occurred outside of the popular Miccosukee Casino West of Miami.

According to NBC 6 in Miami the 33-year-old victim, Fernando Duarte, walked outside the casino after winning a prize from a slot machine when he was gunned down. Duarte was rushed to Kendall Regional Hospital where he later died.

Officials later charged 25-year-old Kenin Bailey and 25-year-old Mikey Lenard in the case with Bailey the alleged shooter.  He reportedly shot Duarte while driving by him with Lenard behind the wheel, hitting the victim in the leg and wrist.

Both men are charged with first degree murder in the case and currently being held on no bond.
