While not available in your local adult sex toy outlet or online just yet, the "BetOnline Dildo" is in high demand based on search queries.

This follows BetOnline's decision to release odds on the color of the next dildo thrown onto the court of a WNBA game.

A green dildo was thrown onto the court of last Tuesday’s Dream-Valkyries game

BetOnline released the Captain Quirk wagering options within 48 hours of that incident with heavy action being reported as the story continued to make headlines.

Gambling911.com still reported over 20,000 search impressions per day.

Immediately following odds being posted, another green dildo was thrown onto the court of a game between the Valkyries and Chicago Sky Friday night.

By Saturday evening, we were learning of an arrest tied to Tuesday's incident. League officials have not said whether they identified the person responsible for the second sex toy incident. The individual accused of throwing the item in Georgia faces a one-year ban by the league.

It has since  been revealed that an individual named Delbert Carver, 23, is the one who allegedly tossed the original neon green dildo on a WNBA court after he was placed under arrest and booked into Jonesboro, Georgia’s Clayton County Jail, per a report from ESPN.  He spent one night behind bars before being released on bond Sunday morning.

In the affidavit, Carver allegedly told police "this was supposed to be a joke and this joke [was] supposed to go viral."

Well, that it did

The WNBA released the following statement after the arrest:

"The safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans," the WNBA wrote in its statement. "In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities."

Not all media outlets were impressed with what others saw as a "stroke of genius" from BetOnline.

Searches for "BetOnline Dildo" turned up everything from Gambling911.com's extensive new coverage to the Daily Mail proclaiming "Gambling company offers vulgar bets after two WNBA games are interrupted by flying sex toys".

BetOnline has been offering six different prop bets pertaining to the potential of another dildo being thrown onto the court of a WNBA game, though the recent arrest will likely act as a deterrent.  Initial reports that BetOnline pulled out of offering the dildo props appear to be premature.

In its 26 years in business, BetOnline is known to offer merchandise, typically tied to sporting events, sponsorships and conferences.  Whether a line of company branded sex toys could come to fruition remains doubtful, though the BOL Captain Hook-Up does have a nice ring to it.
