Curaçao-licensed licensed crypto gambling operator BC.Game, which is believed to be owned by a Far East entity, has rejected a November court ruling that declared it bankrupt.  The online gambling firm recently entered into a multi-million dollar shirt sponsorship deal with football club Leicester City and vowed to honor it. They assured the club BC.Game “has no issues with liquidity”.

But regulators in Curacao, where BC.Game has maintained a gaming license for just under a year, are in the process of considering revoking it.  GCB's managing director Cedric Pietersz will meet with Small House BV's newly-appointed trustee Barbara Nagelmackers to discuss the ruling in a hearing.

In BC Gaming’s case, the bankruptcy ruling relates to its parent-company Small House as it failed to pay out over $2 million (£1.6 million/€1.9 million) in player winnings after acquiring BC Game in February.  The operator reportedly owed five gamblers a sum of around £1.5million.

BC Game’s previous owner Blockdance was also embroiled in the case with plenty of finger pointing to go around.

BC.Game has vowed to appeal the Curacao court ruling.

“We strongly disagree with the court’s latest rulings and we will spare no expenses to appeal this erroneous judgment which failed to give due consideration to facts. We are confident that justice will ultimately prevail,” BC Game said.

It said there had been inconsistencies throughout the case including in the witness statements.

“The allegations lack sufficient supporting evidence, with many claims based solely on unverified statements. Our internal investigations have revealed discrepancies in the cases cited by the plaintiffs, with most accusations lacking a clear legal or technical basis,” it said.

The real concern is on the here and now.  Will customers continue to get paid?

The Netherlands and Australia previously warned BC.Game it was operating in those jurisdictions illegally.

Complaints against BC.Game can be traced back the last two years at least.

This complaint appeared on BC.Game's own posting forum last year:

The long established Casinomeister forum has been documenting player complaints over the past few months.

This one appeared back in April of this year.

I've been playing on BC.game for the past few months with no luck in getting to withdraw. Just bad luck and not knowing when to quit I guess. But today, I decided to try and test the withdrawal function to see if it would work. Turns out, it didn't. Because, news to me (Dummy for not looking up the T&Cs I guess) I had to wager exactly what I deposited to withdraw it. So, I did. Then I found I could not withdraw to the Trezor wallet because every time I did it would throw a "Oops! We lost your network!" error. So, I downloaded Exodus wallet and tried that only to discover that, apparently, I did not have the sufficient amount to meet the minimum withdrawal requirement? (I gambled and lost a bit, but the balance at the point of withdrawal attempt was a little over 80 when, as far as I can recall, I was sure it was 50.)

So I kept gambling and, of course, ended up losing it.

UKGC drove me to the site and it looks like I got screwed for not having the wallet on the same network as BC.game's? It seemed weird to receive the same error over and over. VPN issues? Call me an idiot if you like, but now I know why it's in the grey zone. Just don't get how others can seem to play there with no issue, yet, I get this experience.

Don't mean to vent. Just wondering if others had a similar experience. Maybe this site is one to avoid?

The company is unlicensed throughout continental Europe and the United Kingdom where Leicester City is based, and is 'black-listed' in a number of countries, including Greece, Bulgaria and Lithuania.

Will it seek out a license elsewhere remains the big question.

Customers may not have many channels to explore should BC.Game stop paying entirely.
