Roulette Bet Pays $3.5 Million on Live Television

Brazilian businessman Pedro Grendene Bartelle, the president of shoe company Vulcabras-Azaleia, placed a $35000 on one roulette spin between full at 32 number and walked away with a cool $3.2 million.

The bet was placed at Uruguay’s Hotel Conrad in Punta del Este a few days after New Year’s Day with a video only becoming available recently.

From the Daily Mail:

The video showed Bartelle and his friends stack their chips on the number 32. Bartelle appeared confident in his decision while reassuring bystanders and sipping on a glass of wine.

Seconds later the casino erupted in applause and the group of men huddled together and jumped around in a circle as they congratulated Bartelle on the win.
