SBC Barcelona Summit 2022: Conflicts, Contrasts & New Opportunities
The SBC North America Summit this past month was the most successful yet but the organization's marquee event is just around the corner.
SBC Summit Barcelona will be taking place 20-22 September.
We sat down with SBC Marketing Director Dennis Algreen in early June where he revealed to Gambling911.com their grand plan to improve relations with affiliates and media sites, including the production of more customized content for sites like Gambling911 (a media sponsor of SBC).
This week Algreen was interviewed by SBC News and discussed the Barcelona event.
"SBC Summit Barcelona is our biggest-to-date conference and exhibition.
"When we started planning the event, the main goal was to ensure that each industry vertical is represented on the conference agenda — this is how we ended up with seven conference stages and eleven tracks covering the hottest topics in sports betting and iGaming.
"We are well on our way to securing 350+ speakers for our Barcelona event, and just a short glimpse of the agenda is enough to realise that these are the top people in the industry — all senior executives, leaders and innovators in their respective fields.
"With a comprehensive conference agenda covering sports betting, iGaming, affiliate, media and marketing, payments and compliance and emerging tech, we deliver on our promise that every delegate will get valuable insights that will help them elevate their business."

$30K Limits on Preseason Hall of Fame Game
The first preseason NFL game got underway Thursday night with over a thousand sharps jumping on the Raiders -1 point line early and pushing that number to -3.
This didn't face the fine folks at Circa Sports.
While other U.S. regulated sportsbooks are quick to slash limits on those deemed to be "winners", seasoned sports bettors continue to praise Circa Sports, and with good reason.
Friend of the Gambling911.com website, Gadoon “Spanky” Kryollos, confirmed the $30K limits being taken on the Jaguars-Raiders preseason Hall of Fame game via his much talked about new line service Spank Odds.

Washington Commanders Apply for Sports Betting License
The Washington Commanders, who play in Maryland, are one of three applicants scheduled for a qualification hearing next week to offer sports betting in the Old Line State.
It took a little digging by the Daily Standard to make this discovery as the team applied through a different name it appears.
On state regulators’ agenda at that time is a license application from a group known as Maryland Stadium Sub, LLC.
A company using the same name is registered with the state Department of Assessment and Taxation with a business address at 1600 FedEx Way, which just happens to be the location of the Commander’s stadium in Landover.
