Trainer Peter Miller on the six spot:  “I’m OK with the six. I would not have been happy with the one. (There were only two spots left on the board when Comma to the Top’s number was drawn – No. 1 or No. 6.) I’m inside, I’ve got speed and I’ve got (jockey) Patrick (Valenzuela). He’s the best (at coming out of the gate quickly).”

He’s the most experienced horse in Saturday’s Derby, having started 13 times.  Unfortunately he is 0 for 3 so far this year.  He may be past his peak, which would explain the long odds.
