Horse racing in the UK for 7 February betting witnessed heaviest action on Hunters Belt, Claretintheblood and Perlachy.

125x125 £

Hunters Belt will race the Southwell 16:45 1m 4f Class 5 Play Rainbow Riches At Bluesq Com Handicap (4yo Plus).  He was getting just shy of 57 percent at 5/2 or 11/4 odds, depending on the book.

The Form says:  “Hunters Belt was just touched off here last time, and may have too much toe for Three White Socks at this trip. Unex Picasso looks next best on recent evidence.”

Three White Socks was getting 13 percent of the betting action here at 6/1 odds, though Gambling911.com is seeing 7/1 odds at a few online horse racing books.

Claretintheblood was listed at 7/2 in the Southwell 14:15 for the 5f Class 6 Golf And Racing At Southwell Handicap (3-yo).

The Form says of Clareintheblood:  “Improved for switch to fibresand when taking C&D handicap in December, and easy to forgive latest polytrack defeat. Slowly away on 2 of last 3 starts, but holds every chance if breaking on terms.”

Perlachy was running the Wolverhampton 14:00 5f 20yrds Class 5 Blue Square Winter Carnival iPhone App Handicap at 3/1 odds.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
