Jackson Bend Kentucky Derby 2010 odds were set at 15/1 at Sportsbetting.com Friday evening (see odds here)

This Nick Zito horse has finished first or second in all nine starts so far, and there is just no denying that he gives his all every time he steps onto the track, which shouldn't be discounted when he shows up in Louisville.

Much has been made already of this colt's slight build and obscure pedigree, and the questions they present about his true distance capabilities.  There is a question as to whether he may have reached his peak already.

Will he be able to race in the mud?  That is another question that is being asked of all the contenders appearing in the Kentucky Derby 2010.

At lucky 13 post position only 4 horses have won from here since 1900.
