Last Gunfighter Odds to Win the Breeders Cup Classic

The Last Gunfighter’s odds to win the 2013 Breeders Cup Classic were coming in at 20/1.  Bet on all the Breeders Cup races at SportsBetting.ag and claim up to $1200 in FREE BETS here.

The Last Gunfighter has enjoyed a recent 1st place finish at the Philip H. Iselin in August but fell short at the Jockey Club Gold Cup in late September, finishing 5th.

This horse enjoyed quite a streak of six consecutive 1st place finishes from October of last year through May of this year.  He finished 2nd at the Suburban Handicap in July to break that streak before winning the Philip H. Iselin race.

“It wouldn’t shock me at all if this horse was able to grab a piece of it,” trainer Chad Brown said of The Last Gunfighter's run at this year's Breeders Cup Classic. “He’s training really well. I know it’s a tough race. A lot of things are going to have to go his way and a lot of things are going to have to go the wrong way for some of the leading contenders. But it’s a big day and anything can happen. We’re going to take shot.”

Last Gunfighter, who will be ridden by Javier Castellano, drew the rail in the 12-horse Classic.
