Payout on American Pharoah to Win the 2015 Breeders Cup Classic
Considering American Pharaoah is the first horse to win the Triple Crown in nearly 40 years, getting him at even payout odds to win the 2015 Breeders Cup Classic should be considered a steal.
One of the reasons for the rather attractive odds has to do with his competition.
Beholder, at +350 odds, has won her last six races including three straight grade 1 races and comes into this weekend as a Breeders Cup veteran ready to take on the big boys at the Classic.
"There's a lot of tough horses in here, and that's what the Breeders' Cup is supposed to be," American Pharoah's trainer, Bob Baffert, said. "You have to come to it with your 'A' game, break well and get the trip."
Early indications are that American Pharoah has been training superbly. Workouts last Tuesday had the favorite running 6 furlongs in 1:10.80
