Preakness Stakes 2010 latest odds have been posted by Sportsbetting.com (see website here)

Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver would pay out $50 for every $20 bet while Derby favorite Lookin At Lucky would pay out $30 for every $10 bet

Before getting too down on Lookin At Lucky following his disastrous Derby performance, Bill Finley of ESPN.com had this to offer:

"It's a bit hard to separate the top two horses in the Preakness -- Super Saver and Lookin at Lucky -- because no one can be quite sure how good Lookin at Lucky is. The colt with the ironic name had no chance in his last two races, the Santa Anita and Kentucky Derbies, because of the misadventures he suffered from gate to wire. Even when he won the Rebel, he did so by a head in another performance compromised by a troubled trip.

"Is Lookin at Lucky the better of the two? You have to take a leap of faith to believe that he is, but I'm willing to do just that. He's my pick in the Preakness."

3rd place Derby finisher and a Gambling911.com fav, Paddy O'Prado, was listed with 9/1 odds at Sportsbetting.com.

Mike Welsch of the Daily Racing Form emphasized prior to the Kentucky Derby: "Paddy O'Prado has been machine-like in his efficiency during routine morning gallops, chugging along with the look of a horse who can run all day. His final Derby prep may have been the most impressive of any I saw last week, five furlongs in 58.44 seconds with a six-furlong gallop-out of 1:11.06 and seven-eighths in 1:25.62. That drill came over a very sloppy track, and with the forecast calling for rain, a wet track would only seem to enhance his chances. Peaking at the right time, and in my mind the best value play in this evenly matched lineup."

There were two horses with 10/1 odds:  Caracortado and Dublin.  Jackson Bend had odds of 11/1.  Schoolyard Dreams came in with 15/1 odds.  Pleasant Prince had odds of 16/1.
