The Prioress Stakes is a Grade I Thoroughbred race for three-year-old fillies run on dirt.  It is a 6 furlough sprint with a $300,000 purse.

For the first 6 races of her career, Agave Kiss looked unbeatable.  However, she finished a disappointing fifth in the Grade III Victory Ride at Belmont on July 7.

“We’ll pretend it was a bad dream,” trainer Rudy Rodriguez said of the Victory Ride. “It was kind of disappointing, but thankfully, she came back good and we’ll keep our fingers crossed.”
