Shared Belief had odds of winning the 2014 Breeders Cup Classic set at slightly better than EVEN or +120 at Sportsbook.ag.

Brisnet reports that Shared Belief was able to run six furlongs in 1:14 2/5 on Golden Gate Fields' Tapeta racing surface Tuesday and looked fantastic.

Shared Belief is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.

"It was a great work," Hollendorfer said of Tuesday’s workout. "We had him come up the rail today and we're very pleased with how everything went."

Shared Belief is the odds-on favorite to win this year’s $5 million Breeders Cup Classic based on his outstanding record to date.  He has won all seven of his races with $1,552,200 in earnings.

Gary West of ESPN.com writs of Shared Belief:

He easily defeated older horses in the Pacific Classic, and then he won the Awesome Again Stakes despite being forced to race extremely wide around both turns, losing more than seven lengths to the runner-up, Fed Biz. Unbeaten in seven races, Shared Belief has won while on the early lead, he has rallied to win, he has won on a variety of surfaces, from three-quarters of a mile to a mile-and-a-quarter, and, most important, he has overcome trouble to win. His talent and determination have simply overwhelmed rivals.  That's why Shared Belief stands out even in such a talented group.
