Stately Victor Belmont Stakes Odds

Stately Victor Belmont Stakes odds came in at 13/1 at Sportsbetting.com.

Stately Victor was undistinguished through his first seven starts before he posted a stunning 4 ¼-length victory in the Grade 1 Blue Grass at odds of 40-1.  He would eventually finish 8th at this year's Kentucky Derby in the mud.

Trainer Mike Maker believes Stately Victor is well-suited for the Belmont's 1 ½-mile distance and the track's long, sweeping turns.

In nine career starts, however, Stately Victor has run only one outstanding race.

The good news for Stately Victor perhaps is that five of the last ten Belmont Stakes winners have come out of the Derby.

What is Stately Victor doing here? That's the question being asked by BelmontStakes.com.

His four previous starts on dirt produced little of consequence - eighth in the Derby and runner-up in a maiden sprint at age 2. Even his Blue Grass must be viewed with skepticism; he previously had done nothing to suggest imminent Grade 1 victory. His win in the Blue Grass looks like another unfathomable synthetic surface upset that undermines basic handicapping principles. Even if Stately Victor reproduced his 94 Beyer Speed Figure on synthetic, it probably would not be good enough to win the Belmont.

Which Horse Betting Apps Are Available in Georgia?

Georgia does not have race tracks and is not exactly accommodating to any of the big name apps.  Horse betting sites accessible from the state include BetUS, which has actually been taking bets from Georgia residents 18 and up for 30 years now.

Can I Bet the Kentucky Derby on the DraftKings App?

New York is one of the states you can bet on DraftKings sportsbook app but not their horse racing app: DK Horse.  This is true of other states including Tennessee, New Jersey and Ohio, just to name a few.
