Gambling911.com has released its 2010 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings based on each team’s odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl updated Wednesday at BetUS.com.
Unlike last week, where there was little change from the previous period’s rankings, there has been plenty of movement as indicated by the ( ). Most notably is that the Green Bay Packers have been knocked out of the number one ranking.
Both the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets leapfrogged up the rankings to take over the number 1 and number 2 positions, respectively.
For the third consecutive week, the Pittsburgh Steelers hold on to the number 4 spot and would pay out $950 for every $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl.
The New Orleans Saints have tumbled from a ranking of number 3 last week to number 8 this week.
The only new entry into the top 10 NFL Power Rankings is the New York Giants. The Cowboys drop out.
*1 (5) Baltimore Ravens – Odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl have been slashed from 10/1 to 7/1
*2 (6) New York Jets – Odds also were at 7/1, making them co-favorites to win the 2011 Super Bowl.
*3 (2) Indianapolis Colts – Now pay $900 for every $100 bet if they are to win the Super Bowl this post season.
*4 (4) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pay $950 for every $100 bet.
*5 (1) Green Bay Packers – Now pay 10/1 odds.
*6 (8) Atlanta Falcons – Move up two notches on the 2010 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings and have had their odds slashed from 12/1 to 10/1.
*7 (7) New England Patriots – 12/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl. These odds were made longer from the 10/1 price last week so Gambling911.com readers might want to lock in the 12/1 odds now.
*8 (3) New Orleans Saints – Now at 14/1 odds of repeating with another Super Bowl win.
*9 (9) San Diego Chargers – Despite a loss in Oakland, the Chargers hang in the top 10 and now have 16/1 odds.
*10 (new) New York Giants – Pay 20/1 odds with a Super Bowl win.
