In recent weeks, many players have reported issues trying to cash out of Full Tilt Poker, the world’s second largest online card room.  Chase Bank has been indicated as one of the said banks.

Full Tilt Poker is currently embroiled in a massive investigation into online payment processors.  The US Attorney’s office out of Baltimore, Maryland is overseeing the investigation.  Two men accused of processing checks for Full Tilt have agreed to cooperate with US officials.

Martin Loftus, a 49-year-old California man, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Maryland on Jan. 19 to one count of laundering money in relation to online gambling.

James Davitt pleaded guilty earlier in the month to one count of conducting a gambling business.

Another man, Daward Lee Falls, is noted in court documents as having made “arrangements with representatives of Full Tilt Poker to make payments by checks to gamblers in Maryland and elsewhere,".

A fourth man, Michael Garone of Georgia, was sentenced in Maryland in December to a year’s probation in connection with the ongoing probe.  He is cited as having had relations with Bodog.com, another online poker enterprise.  Garone was also among the first names mentioned as part of the investigation which began more than two years ago.

“We’ve had a ton of traffic coming into the Gambling911.com website related to this issue in recent weeks,” notes Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.

Full Tilt Poker apparently has other methods of paying players and is said to be working with alternative payment processors.
