BetOnline, one of North America’s largest established online gambling websites, has released odds on a US Government shutdown and whether the US Congress will reach an agreement on a federal spending-cut bill for the rest of the fiscal year 2023.

The Following Was Coverage of a Looming 2011 Government Shutdown

On the table now is a measure that would expand negotiations for another two weeks.  For the time being, the US government could potentially shut down as early as this coming Friday, with current funding about to run out.

So what would a government shutdown mean exactly?

Parks, museums, state run public education, the Department of Motor Vehicles and passport offices would all be closed.  Don’t worry about airline security, the TSA will still be there to “molest” people.

The federal government has been running on temporary spending bills during the last few months.
