The final weekend of the NBA regular season features some key matchups as a number of teams are still jockeying for position.

On Saturday, the San Antonio Spurs will try to continue reversing a troubling trend as they face the Utah Jazz at the AT&T Center (8:30 pm ET, NBA TV).

The Spurs remain the top team in the NBA with a 60-19 SU, 44-33-2 ATS record but went through a six-game losing streak that looked like it might cost them the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, as it coincided with a surge by the Los Angeles Lakers, who are second in the Western Conference.

But the Spurs have won three straight and the Lakers have lost three in a row, giving San Antonio a 4.5-game cushion.

On Sunday, the biggest matchup of the day features a battle for second place in the Eastern Conference when the Boston Celtics visit LeBron James and the Miami Heat (3:30 pm ET, ABC).

Boston (54-23 SU, 36-39-2 ATS) entered Thursday’s tilt with the first-place Chicago Bulls second in the East, three games back of Chicago and a half game up on the third-place Heat (54-24 SU, 36-41-1 ATS).

Sunday night, the suddenly struggling Lakers face the Oklahoma City Thunder (9:30 pm ET, NBA TV).

The Thunder are in fourth in the West and won’t catch the Lakers but are only one game back of the third-place Dallas Mavericks.
