Twice The Appeal odds to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby were listed at +2400 at BetUS.com.  The payout would be $240 for every $100 bet or $24 for every $10 bet.

Trainer Jeff Bonde said of the number 3 post position: “It’s beautiful. My jock (Calvin Borel) likes the wood. You know I like the spot.”

He should love it.  The spot has produced a total of eight Kentucky Derby winners.

Twice the Appeal has added appeal since he will be ridden by famed jockey Calvin Borel.  Three of the last four Kentucky Derby’s were won by Borel-ridden horses.

Twice the Appeal has a similar record it seems, having won three of his last four races.  His last win was his biggest, the 1 1/8-mile, Grade 3 Sunland Derby.

This is an experienced horse with 10 races under his belt and proven tactical speed.  His recent two victories put him at part with the top contenders.

Gambling911.com anticipates Twice The Appeal’s odds to be slashed as race time approaches so lock in these odds now (they are subject to change since this piece was published).

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
