2011 World Series of Poker Odds to Win: Negreanu, Antonius Early Favorites
Negs, Antonius and Hansen were among the early favorites to in the 2011 World Series of Poker, each with 80-1 odds
Daniel "Kid Poker" Negreanu, Patrik Antonius and Gus "The Great Dane" Hansen are the co-favorites to win the upcoming 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.
At least according to one offshore sportsbook that has posted betting odds on who will win the world's most prestigious poker tourament.
According to sportsbook Bet 365 (www.bet365.com), Negreanu, Antonius and Hansen are each listed at 80-1 odds to win the WSOP Main Event, which begins on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino just off Vegas' famed Strip.
That means a $1 bet on Hansen, for example, will return the bettor $80 (plus the original $1) if Hansen wins the tourney.
Listed next to win the WSOP Main Event, at 100-1 odds, is Tom Dwan.

Next are Daniel Alaei, Erik Seidel, Allen Cunningham and Juha Helppi, each at 125-1.
Next, all at 150-1 odds to win, are Phil "Poker Brat" Hellmuth Jr., Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari, John Juanda, Jamie Gold, Barry Greenstein, Ted Forrest, Peter Eastgate, Huck Seed, Jason Mercier, Eric Baldwin and Johnny Loddon.
Among the other top names and their odds to win the '11 WSOP Main Event are: Scotty Nguyen and Phil "Unabomber" Laak at 175-1, Joe Hachem and Mike "The Mouth" Matusow at 200-1, Jonathan Duhamel at 225-1, Annie Duke and Jerry Yang at 250-1 and Tom McEvoy at 300-1.
Phil "Poison" Ivey was originally listed by Bet 365 as the favorite to win the 2011 WSOP Main Event, at 66-1.
Ivey, however, a part owner of Fed-busted online poker room Full Tilt Poker, announced before the WSOP began that he wouldn't be participating in any WSOP events this year.
Howard "The Professor" Lederer, also a Full Tilt Poker part owner seeking to avoid confrontations at the WSOP, is also not participating in the WSOP this year, though he didn't announce it officially.
He was listed at 150-1 odds to win the Main Event.
Bet 365 is also offering odds on who will be the top finishing woman in the 2011 WSOP Main Event and who will be the top finishing European.
Vanessa Selbst is 10-1 to be the top female finisher and Hansen and Antonius are each 20-1 to be the top Euro.
